because the words we use aren't always real

From time to time when you talk to people they use strange words that dont exist, here i round 'em up add meanings and hey presto your own weird words guide

*note orginal concept pinched from the 'Adman Dictionary' but since that site is no longer alive we hope he wont notice :) *


also: these * * are *actions* example *looks left sneezes, twitches nose* or a simple *smile* it makes the whole online conversation experience seem like some sort of script so you can get a real feel for the conversation. And my geeky goodness.

  • Chavvy- term describing a person described as a chav/kev/townie behavoir such as talking about your 'bling' describing something as 'blazin or lush' etc etc.
  • pasta- term used to ask for assisstance in a socially uncomfortable situation. Pasta relates to 'macaroni'
  • macaroni- originally used a discreet nickname for a person whose name sounds vaguely similar, it can now be used to describe anyone getting too close for comfort.
  • idge/age- suffix grouping all things related to that word. eg: dogage= all things relating to a dog
  • ness- suffix usually applied to adjectives. ex: i am in wellness (note: only purpuse of this one is to make words more interesting)
  • mmm (followed by name)- "i am thinking of that person"


  • Tis - abbreviation 'it is'
  • Tisn't- opposite of 'tis'
  • dood/ dude- used to address a male
  • doodette/dudette- used to address a female
  • smooth- "nicely done"
  • fook/feck/phuck/fĂșck- the ones that wont upset swearword blockers on most sites.
  • shiz/shyzer- polite versions of shit
  • bull-ox- polite version of bollocks
  • moo(fem)/ moose(masc) -term of endearment "my little moo"
  • grr/rawr- "something is proving frustrating"
  • heh heh heh - suggestive laugh
  • dodgy/shifty- something worthy of a suggestive laugh
  • whatEVER- used in an arguement to signify while you have clearly won you no longer wish to discuss the matter.
  • O.O/ O.o -eyes wide smiley
  • swish-(1) on object or person that is good ex: "that car is so swish" (2)marking victory in an arguement. like old phrase 'booyah'| often accompanied by limp wrist movement
  • Damn you sweden- used when something doesn't go to plan. variations: damn you government, damn you bill gates


  • Spazzy McGee- doesnt actually belong here, but is the name of my computer for obvious reasons.
  • Jim- a new word replacing 3
  • Mute button- a person who needs one, used when talking about very good looking person who is spoilt when the open their mouth.
  • haaambaaag rule- all lyrics are invitations for all who know the song to join in.
  • 'you got F+'- "you are a bad friend"
  • weebl and bob speak- when person sounds like weebl and bob (see www.weebl.jolt.co.uk )
  • Finland!- phrase that while on its own is unfunny when repeated at random intervals becomes a running gag.
  • meh- "im not going to dignify that with a response"
  • ass clown- fool/ silly silly man
